The Public Relations Office of the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and tourism (RICHT) quoted Head of the archeological exploration team in the city of Pasargad and Mashad's Morghab District Farhad Zareie Kordsholi as saying that about 300 monuments were discovered in Pasargad, 239 in Saadat-Shahr, 180 in Sarpiran village, 150 in Tange Bolaghi, and about 110 in Kouchekak heights during the explorations.
Southern California beaches remain closed after shark sightings

San Clemente's, southernmost beaches in Orange County, were closed Sunday morning after 25 white sharks within 25 yards off the coastline were observed from air by a Sheriff's helicopter. The beaches briefly reopened Monday morning, but closed again after a fisherman hooked a 12-foot shark off the pier.

US astronauts prepare for spacewalk outside International Space Station

"After a review of spacewalk preparations and crew readiness throughout the day Sunday, the decision was made to press ahead with the spacewalk on Tuesday. It will be conducted by Expedition 51 Commander Peggy Whitson and Flight Engineer Jack Fischer of NASA," the agency's statement said.
