“The construction of the Union State is among our key priorities. The jubilee 50th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union State discussed ways to enhance the efficiency of the use of budgetary funds,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
“We have a good production and personnel potential. We have good infrastructure and a social and political situation. We have stability and people's confidence that the majority of the decisions are the ones the country needs. This all means a lot,” the PM noted.
“For trade unions, the main thing is that the government should preserve the country's social orientation. This means that social projects and programs will be continued. These programs provide social guarantees to the youth, workers, senior citizens,” Mikhail Orda said.
The event will open with a concert, We Welcome the Festival, in a park of the village of Oktyabrsky. Partaking in the concert will be foreign bands from Serbia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Lithuania and Ukraine.
“All avenues of the country's development are important today. However, taking into account the fact that agricultural enterprises account for 9% of Belarus' GDP, and processing companies also account for 9% of the GDP, the development of these industries is of strategic importance,” the vice premier believes.
