Belarus was voted to host the Second European Games in 2019 at the 45th General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees in Minsk in October 2016.

“Belarusian young people have responded to the call to take part in the contest. As far as I know, art teams, clubs, and even schools have sent their works. We have received over a thousand applications,” Georgy Katulin said.
