2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang

The 23rd Winter Olympics Games will take place in Pyeongchang, South Korea on 9-25 February 2018. The competition program will include 15 sports: figure skating, speed skating, short track speed skating, Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping, snowboarding, bobsleigh, skeleton, biathlon, curling, ice hockey and luge.

The Belarusian athlete finished in 7:04:41 in the longest Olympic speed skating distance for women. The Olympic debutant has certainly made some progress in Pyeongchang: she was 11th in the 3,000m speed skating and was disqualified after the 1,500m event.

Clean-shooting Hanna Oeberg clocked 41:07.2 to claim the champion title. Anastasiya Kuzmina of Slovakia finished second, 24.7 back, with two penalties. Bronze went to Germany's Laura Dahlmeier, 41.2 seconds, one penalty.

The event was initially scheduled to start at 14.05 Belarus' time. The new timetable features the event to kick off at 11.15 on 15 February. The Men's 20K Individual is slated to start at 14.20.

Marcel Hirscher secured gold for Austria in the Men's Alpine Combined (Downhill and Slalom) in PyeongChang on 13 February. Silver went to Alexis Pinturault of France. Bronze was collected by his teammate Victor Muffat-Jeandet.
