Local schoolchildren will be taking care of the apple orchard planted during the national cleanup day, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko told the media.

Early spring planting in Belarus over 88% complete
Spring crops were planted on an area of 849,300 hectares, 35.9% of the
target. Early spring grain and leguminous crops (excluding maize,
buckwheat and millet) were planted on an area of 542,500 hectares, which
is 88.1% of the plan.
